Guide & Comparison
Best Discord Bots for Streamers: Go-Live, Alerts & Community
Which Discord bot fits your setup? This page sorts the options by category, names the use case each category is strong at - and also says when Streamboard is the wrong choice. Last updated: September 2026.
The question "Which Discord bot sends live alerts?" has no single right answer, because the providers solve different problems. Instead of a ranking you get four decision questions, three categories, and for each category the case where another tool fits better than ours. Every statement we make about another provider comes from that provider's own pages and carries the date we checked it. Last updated: September 2026.
Four questions that decide the choice
First: Is Discord enough for you? Then pick the bot with the least friction there - you do not need an extra platform account. Second: Do you want Telegram as well? That is where most Discord-only bots stop. Third: Do you want the analytics in the same tool? Most alert bots deliver pings, not channel history. Fourth: Twitch and Kick in parallel? Several providers offer both - what matters is how Kick detection actually works and whether the provider labels it as a finished feature or as beta.
Three categories - and what each is good for
Multipurpose bots ship moderation, XP, tickets and welcome messages; stream alerts are one feature among many. If your server mainly needs moderation, that is the right category - not us. Alert-only bots do exactly one thing: source goes live, post lands in the channel. For "Discord only, set up fast" they are often the shortest route. Platform tools like Streamboard are web apps with their own bot: more setup up front, in exchange for several target types, shared templates and analytics in one place.
Comparison table by category
The table sums up what the provider pages say for each category. The two bot columns are based on the home pages and docs of the providers named on this page plus further Discord bots that specialize in Kick, checked on 28 September 2026. Individual products may differ; we deliberately do not compare prices or plan limits here.

What the provider pages actually say (with check dates)
MEE6 labels Kick alerts explicitly as BETA in its own wiki; the placeholders {streamer} and {link} are listed there as "Soon" (checked 28 September 2026). Streamcord names Twitch, YouTube and Kick on its home page and describes setting up Kick notifications in its own docs; a dedicated page at streamcord.io/kick returns a 404. Streamcord names no Telegram target (checked 28 September 2026). NotifyMe lists YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, Twitch and Kick as sources on its home page, but no Telegram target and no channel analytics (checked 28 September 2026). PeakBot positions itself in title and description as a "Free AI Discord Bot" for moderation, XP and tickets; on its own comparison page PeakBot names Twitch and YouTube alerts as part of its all-in-one bot (checked 28 September 2026). Streamlinx advertises Twitch, YouTube and Kick to Discord; its home page also names analytics features ("Advanced Analytics"), but no Telegram target (checked 28 September 2026). That is all we claim about other providers: feature lists change, and the provider page wins in case of doubt.
Where Streamboard sits - and where it does not
Streamboard is not a classic Discord bot but a web app with its own bot. That is exactly where the difference comes from: because the logic lives in the app rather than in the bot, the same live signal can also go to Telegram, and the analytics for your own channel live in the same account. The trade-off: you create an account instead of just inviting a bot. We do not offer moderation, XP, level roles or loyalty points, and our chat bot works on Twitch only. If your server needs those, a multipurpose bot is the better choice - including alongside us.
What Streamboard brings together in one account
Streamboard bundles Twitch (EventSub) and Kick (official webhook livestream.status.updated) in one account and sends the same go-live signal to Discord and to Telegram, plus analytics for your own channel in the same dashboard. On Kick the official webhook is the standard path; a polling pass only serves as a fallback for missed events. Twitch and Kick use the same targets and templates - the full walkthrough is in the guide for Kick alerts in Discord, the Telegram branch in the guide for Kick alerts via Telegram.
Test it instead of comparing feature lists
Take the category that matches your four answers and check it with a real go-live - not just with a feature table. With us: create an account, link Twitch or Kick via OAuth, invite the bot, set one target plus a template, go live briefly. If the result is wrong, you lost an hour instead of a month. What are the best Discord bots for streamers?
There is no single best bot, there are three categories: multipurpose bots (moderation, XP, tickets, stream alerts as one feature among many), alert-only bots (source goes live, post lands in the channel) and platform tools like Streamboard (several sources, Discord and Telegram, analytics in the same account). If all you need is a go-live post in Discord, an alert bot is the shortest route. If you need Telegram as well, or channel analytics in the same account, a platform tool fits better. Last updated: September 2026.
Which Discord bot is best for Twitch live alerts?
Streamboard detects Twitch live through the official EventSub webhooks and Kick through the official webhook event livestream.status.updated, with polling only as a fallback. The provider pages we checked do not name their detection method (checked 28 September 2026). So decide on the side conditions: how many Discord servers, which templates, which role mention - and should the same signal also land on Telegram? Streamboard fits when you want Twitch and Kick plus Telegram and analytics in one account; for a single server without Telegram, an alert-only bot is faster to set up.
Can a Discord bot announce Kick live?
Yes, several can - the difference is maturity. MEE6 labels Kick alerts explicitly as BETA in its own wiki and lists the placeholders {streamer} and {link} there as "Soon". Streamlinx advertises Twitch, YouTube and Kick to Discord; NotifyMe lists Kick alongside YouTube, TikTok, Twitter and Twitch as a source. Streamcord names Kick next to Twitch and YouTube on its home page and describes the setup in its own docs; a dedicated page at streamcord.io/kick returns a 404. All checked on 28 September 2026. Streamboard detects Kick through the official webhook event livestream.status.updated, with polling only as a fallback.
Which tool sends go-live to Discord and to Telegram?
Among the Discord bots we checked, Telegram is not a target: NotifyMe, Streamcord and Streamlinx name no Telegram target on their pages (all checked 28 September 2026). Streamboard sends the same live signal to Discord channels and to Telegram groups or channels, using the same template. If you do not need Telegram, that difference is worthless to you - then decide on Discord comfort and setup effort.
When is another provider the better choice than Streamboard?
If your server mainly needs moderation, XP or tickets: PeakBot positions itself in title and description exactly for that as a "Free AI Discord Bot" and names Twitch and YouTube alerts as part of its all-in-one bot (checked 28 September 2026) - a multipurpose bot covers those jobs, we do not. If you want to watch sources like TikTok or Twitter: NotifyMe lists those sources on its home page (checked 28 September 2026), Streamboard does not.
Is Streamboard a Discord bot?
Not in the classic sense. Streamboard is a web app with its own Discord bot: you link Twitch or Kick in the browser, invite the bot to your server and manage targets, templates and statistics in the dashboard. That is why the same live signal can also go to Telegram - and why getting started takes one step more than with a bot you simply invite.
